Picture perfect day on South Stradbroke Island 💙🎣🛥
Today, I found out that The Bee Gees grew up in Redcliffe, #Brisbane. Who knew?!? There’s a street dedicated to them and their career called Bee Gees Way. Only in #Australia ✌🏻
It’s February! How did that happen?! I guess it’s time to get posting again. Life since Christmas has been about catching up with good friends, making new friends, visiting some spectacular beaches, staring at this skyline, swimming daily, physio weekly & generally trying to get the old joints back in working order so I can hit the road again and climb some volcanoes 🌋 Still a way to go and specialists to be seen but there’s nothing more motivational than planning the next trip to get me back on my feet ✈️🌎
Hawa Mahal or The Wind Palace is one of the palaces I was most looking forward to visiting in #Rajasthan I never imagined it would be situated on a very busy dual carriageway street and that I’d be taking this photo out the top of a jeep 🤷🏼♀️
After 5 incredible months it’s time to move on from Asia (for now)..... I’ve had the greatest adventures, albeit quite the emotional rollercoaster at times. I’ve met some amazing people & inspiring female solo travellers who rejuvenate my thirst for travel when I’m feeling a bit like “what am I doing??!” I’m so grateful for meeting each and everyone of you 😘 I also leave with going from no sugars to at least three heaped spoonfuls in each of my morning, afternoon and evening chai. I blame India for that one 😆
Can’t believe I’ve been in South India for almost two weeks and I’ve only posted one picture so far.... so here’s another 📷 The sunset point in #Hampi was well worth the 575 step climb 🐵 #MonkeyTemple
